PageOne Communications Implements Group 1 Software’s DOC1 Series 5

Lanham, MD, April 20, 2005 - Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes Company (NYSE:PBI), today announced that PageOne Communications Ltd. of the United Kingdom is using DOC1 Series 5 to help re-invigorate its customer service and billing systems. DOC1 Series 5 is the cornerstone of Group 1’s Customer Communications Management (CCM) solution, which simplifies the gathering and manipulation of data, streamlines document creation and distribution, and ensures that information is accessible and secure.

PageOne, a leading provider of mobile messaging solutions for over 15 years, uses DOC1 to create, produce, proof and electronically distribute invoices across the enterprise. The implementation has helped to streamline PageOne’s billing and customer service operations.

With the new billing application complete, PageOne is already contemplating using additional DOC1 capabilities to further enhance its billing and customer service operations. Some of the areas being considered are XML output, web presentment and payment of invoices, and electronic vaulting of customer communications, which dramatically reduces call center query resolution times.
